Productive Procrastinating
I should be working on the slides for my new talk about cute non-commercial websites in the age of AI. But I’m not – I’ve got a whole week till the talk’s premiere at WordCamp Mannheim after all. 😅
Instead I’m building a plugin to help with my /now page.
WordCamp Portugal 2026
The first time spending some time in Porto after #WCEU in 2022 was really special. Meeting many old friends as well as some new ones and enjoying one of the coolest little cities in Europe. Oh and I gave a fun little talk about #CRA.

Preparing the next book
Almost exactly two years ago, we started working on our German WordPress handbook. Earlier this year it was finally published. While that iteration of the book was about a year’s worth of work, we’re planning for a way shorter turnaround for the updated issue for WordPress 7.
And what can I say? I just started working on that next version of the book.
